The National 'Union of Women's Suf« fraßo Societies has addressed a circular to the members nf tho House of Commons expressing the hopo that tho deplorable proceedings of a small and decreasing minority would not oauso members to withhold their support from tho Conciliation Dill. Mr. Lansbury, Lnbour M.P. for Tower Ilamlets, in addressing a meeting of the Women's Political and Social Union, expressed his sympathy with the imprisoned Suffragettes. Ho declared that ho dintrusted the Government's promises, and urged tho Suffragettes to redouble their past efforts. Tho printers responsible for tho militant Suffragette journol "Votes for Wo* men," rigorously censored tho current issue of nil inflnmmntory nrticles.
