MARCONI TENDER ACCEPTED. By Teloarr«.D!i—Pnee» Association—Copyright (Rec. March 8, 11.10 p.m.) London, March 8. The Postmaster-General, Mr. Herbert Samuel, has accepted tho Marconi Company's terms for tho construction of Imperial wireless stations, subject to Parliamentary ratification. Stations arc to T,e erected in England, Cyprus, Aden, liaugalore, South Africa, and Singapore, and the work will bo put in hand immediately. Each station will cost .£60,000 exclusive of tho sites for the buildings. The company will also receive ten per cent, of the gross receipts during twentyeight years of the currency of the agreement.
