Somo time ago the Rev. E ; 0. Blamiree (the well-known representative cricketer) delivered a Sunday ..evening address on cricket, in" tho course of which he drew some striking parallels.between tho affairs and phenomena of life arid the summer game. Quito a number , of cricketers 'attended to hear the address and found it full of. interest. To-morrow evening, at the New Theatre in Manners Street, Mr. Blamires proposes to mako a similar departure from the beaten track. Ho announces a special address to young men, the subject selected boin", "Cricket and Life, tho Parable of the Stonewaller." Tho title promises.wcll, and those who remember the breezy point and vigour of the former address will no doubt bo eager to hear its successor. The proceedings commence at 7 p.m.
