CLAIM FOR DAMAGE. (Bl lilecrul,-rrei» Asioctn.tloa.l Christchurch, March V. A sequel to the motor-car collision on tho Peninsula Hills, just above Barry's ilay, recently, was a claim of MO damages by John Fuller, of Auckland, theatrical proprietor, against Dr. Thacker, at the Magistrate's .Court before Mr..11. W. Bishop, S.M., to-day. Plaintiff claimed -tlO for damage done- to his car by a collision caused by the negligent driving of defendant's chauffeur; and for travelling and boarding expenses incurred by plaintiff as a result of the injuries to his car. Plaintiff put down these ex ; pensos at .£lO 10s, Bcl. After hearing evidence, his. Worship said he felt perfectly certain that the accident had lioen caused through an attempt of defendant's chauffeur to pass plaintiff's car on a dangerous road, and was also certain that plaintiff's driver was not to blame for what had happened. Judgment would be for plaintill' for .C3O and costs. .'
