Both the latter refused to serve on (he committee, but, eventually, three were appointed to draw up the charges. J(: w:n also moved: "That tho ex-Mayor (Mr. Mae.kay) be asked to formulate the reasons that led to the difference between himself and tho engineer." The Mayor, however, refused to put the motion.
