fSpecialtj written for Tub Doihki«n.] WEDNESDAY. Steak and Tomato Pie. Potato Balls. Broad Beans ami Parsley Sauce. Apple fritters. STEAK AND TOMATO PIE. Th-o pounds fillet beef steak, 1 tomato, thvmc, marjoram, parsley, pastry. L'ut the steak into thin slices about 3 or i inches in length. Beat each piece with a, rolling pin. Put a small piece of tomato, fat, pinch of herbs, salt, and pepper on each piece. Roll them up, and place in a piedish; add nearly a cup of cold water , . Cover with a good crust, and bake for two hours. When brown, cover with a greased paper.
FOR TO-MORROW. One ox-tail, carrots, turnips, suet, mar nialade.
