ORIENTAL FOOTBALL CLUB.

The Teport to be presented to members of the Oriental Football Club at the annual meeting has been prepared. Following are some extracts from it:— "The Senior team did very well, being runners-up in tho Senior championship j and seven-a-side tournament. The | juniors were third in their grade, being j two points behind the winners, Welling- j ton. who are to bo congratulated on their sufifess. The thirds were also runnersup. The fourth A team did not do quite so well as in the previous seaso,n, finishin" second instead of. first Tho B team got into third place. The club once more entered a fifth-class team, but, although there were plenty of players, the team did not meet with much success. The club was also represented by a team in the Wednesday competition. This club is to bo 'heartily congratulated on their fine performance, in winning the senior championship, seven-a-side tournament and Charity Cup. "In representative) matches the club was represented by. Messrs. RobcTts, M'Leod, Perry, Kinvig, Gillpsnie, and O'Brien in tlio seniors, SI Ilwraiwi in the juniors, .and Schultz, Bolton. and Hunt in tho Wednesdays. Roberts. Kinvig, and Perry played in tho North Island tenm. "The financial position of the club is satisfactory, considering heavy expenditure of last year. During the season the "vinndsiiim was completed, nnd proved a great help to the teams."
