The Australian Wireless Company is issuing writs against tho Adelaide Steamship Company and the Maritime Wireless Company, for alleged infringements of patent rights. Tho case affects the Federal Government, which has adopted the Maritime Company's system.

M. Pichon, a, French wireless export, is in Australia on behalf of the Telefunken Company, making inquiries concerning the position of patent, rights. Telefunken decided to assist in the elucidation of this trouble by joining issue and claiming that Marconi's patent is an infringement of theirs. Marconi was, _ of course, obliged to take a cross action. Marconi has altered the ground of his complaint, necessitating this further inquiry.
