GIFT RAMS.
SOLWAT SHOW GAINS m. A number of sheep, presented to the Masterton A. and P. Association in aid of tho funds of the association, were sold at tho Masterton ram fair, and good prices were realised. A Romney ram presonted by Mr. E. Short, of Feilding, was repurchased by Mr. Short for 40gns.; a Romney ram donated by Mr. A. Matthews, of Featherston, was.purchased by Mr. W. A. Ellis, of Marton, for 15gns.; a Romney ram presented by Mr. W. Perry, of Penrose, was sold to Mr. B. Bryant, of Ohariu, for lOgns.; Mr. P. Mungavin's Romney ram was disposed of for sJgns. to Mr. E. Harper, of Matahiwi; a Romney ram donated by Mr. W. B. Allen, of Clareville, was purchased by Messrs. Pavne and_ Innis, East Coast, for GJgns., and a similar price wa9 obtained for a Romney ram presonted by Mr. G. E. Allen, Tipua, tho purchaser being Mr. M. Speedy, of Dannovirke.
