A Martinborougb Wedding. On Wednesday, at tho Martinborougb. Presbyterian Church, the marriage took place of Jliss Blora Colina Campbell, second daughter of Mr. H. tlampbell, of Stoiiev Creel;, and Mr. Frederick Leonard Hancox, only son of Jlr. J. Hancox, of Dry River. Miss Mabel Newton (cousin of 'tho bride) and Miss Jennie Campbell (sister) were the bridesmaids, and Jlr. W. H. Campbell was best man.
Havelock North Wedding. A pretty wedding took place in Hie Presbyterian Cliuroli, Havelock North, on Wednesday, when Miss Euphcmia Lean, eldest daughter of Mr. • Henry Lean, of Paki Paki, was married to Mr. Cecil Hamlin, of Taradalc. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of white silk, with veil ami orange blossoms, and carried a beautiful shower bouquet. Her two little, sisters, in pretty cream silk frocks, attended her as bridesmaids. Tho Key. H. Waugh officiated, and at tho conclusion of the ceremony a number of guests wcro entertained at the residence of the- bride's parents. A Napier Wedding. On Thursday, at Trinity Church, Napier, tho wedding took place of Miss Ruby Thompson, of Napier, and Mr. Arthur Dingwall, of tho local telegraph office. The ceremony was performed by tho Rev. Mr. Blamircs. Miss Linda Thompson attended her sister as bridesmaid, and Mr. Cleave White was the best man. A Presentation. Mr. J. Eagar, of the Custom* -wharf staff, was, prior to his marriage, the recipient of a bronze clock from the landing staff. Mr. Paul, who roado tho presentation, expressed tho good wishes of all for the future welfare of Mr. Eagar and his bride. Another gift was received from (ho "locker" staff, Air. Kershaw making tho presentation on their behalf, of a set of carvers and case of silver teaspoons. The engagement is announced of Miss Dorothy Bennett, of "Otahuao,"{ to Dr. ArcherHoskinsr, of Jlasterton. ■ Miss Doris Roy left Wellington this morning on her Telurn to New Plymouth. This afternoon the members of the W.C.'IYU. and their friends are to have a garden fcto at Island Bay in the beautiful grounds of Jlr. R. JCeenc. There will be flower and fancy stalls, and various attractions. As two of tho members are leaving for England it is hoped that there will be n large attendance to say goodbye to them. Afternoon tea will be provided.
