TWO MORE APPOINTMENTS. Writing under date January 19, the London correspondent of the Christcliutch "Press" soys: . "Thirty applications wore received by the High. Commissioner in reply to the advertisement for two veterinary officers for ■ the Agricultural Department of. the Now. Zealand 'Government. Tim salary is .£3OO per annum. The successful candidates are Jlr. Jacob Hope Prinner and Mr. , ' Edwin Eli Elphick. Mr.. Prinner graduated at tho Koyal Veterinary College, Edinburgh, and has practised his profession .for four years at Chester-le-Streot. He is a Harris gold medallist for Pathology. Mr. Elphick qualified in London in I'JO-i. Ho took a diploma in veterinary hygiene in Liverpool in 1907, and has been the veterinary officer to a large coal company. , '
