She was unconscious when picked up, but on regaining consciousness she said thnt she Tpmembe.fed tripping on the top of the stairs and falling. It was n tall of about 16 or 18 feet;
On Sunday sl\e was removed to the Public Hospital, and there, .--he was advised to go under an operation. In spite of friends, in spite of the Assurance that she would die were the operation iiot performed, she stuck out against it. It is understood thnt the operation would hare, been a fairly simple one, but'deceased could not be persuadedj'and last night she passed away.
