Koyal Arms, who broke down at Wangaiiui on Monday, was given physic yesterday, and, on arrival home, will bo treated to a spell. That busy horseman, li, Deeley, is doing a lot of (ravelling this season. After tho Wangaimi meeting he goes to Danne- j virke and Napier, and will then journey .across (o Nelson, where ho has already been secured for several races. Goodwin Park broke down while working at Fordell on Monday, and will bo an absentee from the ' Wanganui Cup field to-day. After lxdiig exercised at Wanganui yes; tcrday, Master Sylvia, who had just per- ' formed well in a track gallop, was kicked on the head by Lndy Moutoa, and was rendered insensible for fully half an hour. He is an unlikely starter at the meeting; One of the most open rnces at Wanganui to-day is the initial event, in which there will probably be fifteen runners. Solid support will be accorded Electrakoff, C'oroniandcl, Plantation, Sea Queen, Jorgon, St. Petersburg, Golden Loop, mid Miseal, and it is difficult to anticipate which horse will carry the most money. Aloha is an unlikely runner in the Petrie Hack Handicap at Wanganui today, and the stable will rely on Dirge. A horse much talked of in the same race is Nukuotu, who is (o have the services of Deeley. When first he started over fences, LeoInnter.was a very poor juniper, but now he is quite proficient in that respect, and, when schooling at Awapuni recently, he cleared over 1)0 feet. He is to lie ridden by T. Pritchard in the Westmero Hurdles t'o-ilny.. The same horseman will have . the mount on Knwinia in the Hack Hut- i dies.
