A THIRD TRIAL.
VERDICT OF "NOT GUILTY." (By Telegraph-Press Association.! Auckland, February 28. At tho Supreme Court John Alexander M'lntyrc was tried for the third time on a charge of having, on November 1, 11)11, together with one Joseph Ehrnuin, stolen a case of cigarette tobneen from the Customs examination shed on Queen Street Wharf. It will be remembered that this wns one of the offences in regard to which there wns quite a series of prosecutions. M'Jntyre was tried twice on the present charge and on each occasion the jury failed to agree. The jury deliberated for two hours mid a half and returned with a verdict of "not guilty." Accused was discharged.
