RELIABILITY TRIAL THIS WEEK. , On Friday and Saturday of this week the big annual motor-cycle reliability trial of the Now.Zealand Motor Cydo Club, of Wellington, is to be held. There will be two general classes—private owners' and tho open class, and in each class awards will bo made for heavy and light-weight machines. In the private-owners' class a trophy of the valuo of M 4s. each in each section (light and heavy) will be presented to the gainer of the highest aggregate points fV>r reliability, petrol consumption, and hill climb (or formula), another £1 Is. for potrol consumption and £1 Is. for the hill climb. In the open sections, tho top vnluo trophy will be •E! 3s. •'.''' On the first day competitors will proceed from Wellington to Morton, via Masterton, Fnhiatua, and Palmerston North (160 iniles), and on tho secmd will return to town, via the Pukepapa Road, to Bulls, Awahuri, Piilmirston North, Longburn, Foxton, and Levin (140 miles). The hie; special piiz? is the BidwillBarton Championship Cup, to be awarded to' tho machine which scores the highest aggregate points for reliability, fastest hill-climb, and lowest petrol consumption. Trophies or medals, valued at ill Is., will be presented to the heavy and light machines which mako the best time on the hill-climb, and a trophy will be awarded to the winner of tho Teams Trial (three riders).
