FOUR PERSONS CHARGED. (By . Telezrash-Prosj Auoclation.l Auckland, February 27. The police are making an active crusade against cargo pillagers, and to-day four firemen off tho steamer Waimana were brought before tho Magistrate and charged with stealing rolls of cloth from the vessel. They wero remanded for a week. At the Supremo Court, a waterside worker was charged with pillaging cargo from Queen Street Wharf, but was acquitted.
