OPERATION ENDS FATALLY. CASE AT TRENTIIAM. 1 Arthur ChoV, married. 45 years of age, was found near the Hutt River, at tjentham, yesterday, with « deep wound in the throat. At about 11.30 a.m. Mr. Jo-epli Cloque, butcher, of Treiithnm, informed Constable D. Mnhoney, of Upper, llutt. of the matter. Constable Mahoney and Dr. Kemp arrived at the place at about noon. The doctor treated the ca«e, and had Cliotc removed to Upper llutt. Later he was sent to Wellington Hospital. BOY AND HANDCART. Frederick Martin, a boy of 11 years, was injured yc-sterday through the capsizing of a handcart which he was playing with. The handle strnelt him in the stomach, and his injuries are internal.
