Messrs. Dalgcly and Co.. Ltd., report on yesterday's sate as follows:—We held our fortnightly k:ilu of-wool.- skins, hides, ami tallow this afternoon, when we offered a catalogue consisting mostly of oddments to a. good attendance of buyers. Competition was .keen, and satisfactory prices wore obtained for all lines submitted:— Wool-Crossbred, 6Jd. to 71d.; dead. 6Jd. to 71d.; black, Cjd.; lambs, sid. to 7}d.; washed pieces, 4d. to V'd.; locks, 3d. to 31d.; crutchings, flid. well at late rates. Crosfihred, fine, 7id.; crossbred, medium, 6d. to 7(1.: half-wools, 53d. to 6d.; dead, «Jd.; broken and damaged. 33d. to 53d.; lamb-, 5d.; pelts, 35(1. to 33d.; crossbred, damp, 2s. Id. to 6s. Bd. Hides—Wore in good demand. Ox, medium, 6Jd. to 7id.; oi, cut, ojd.: cow, food, 7d.j cow, cut aud slippy, sid. to 6id., calf, medium, 83d.: to IOJd.: calf, cut and slippy, siid. to 81(1. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., .report on their sale held yesterday, as follows:—We offered a pood catalogue of all classes of produce to a largo attendance of buyers. Ridding was keen for nil lolt-, and prices were firm at late rates. We quote:— Wool.—Medium croesbred, 7d. to 7Jd-; rough crossbred, 6d. to 6*d.; good lambs, 83d.; inferior, 65d. to 6Jd.: pieces, 4d. to •lid.; bellies, Sid. to 5Jd.; dead, 6d. to 6Jd. Tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., reports as follows:—Our catalogue convnrified a fair number of bags and fadges wool, a large quantity of sheepskins, and a number of hides and calfskins, besides tallow. There was a good attendance of buyers, and prices were fully equal to those ruling at last sale. Messrs. Murray, Roberts and Co. report:— We catalogued 53C0 sheopskins, 260 hides, 30 bales of wool, and 20 casks of tallow at yesterday's sale, a large numbor of buyers being present. Competition was very strong, and prices fully maintained the level of last sale, any alteration being in favour of sellers. Levin and Company, Ltd., roport ae follows regarding yesterday's sale:—We hold our fortnightly sale to-day, when we offered a small lot of wool, OCOO sheepskins, 6CO hidos and calfskins, and a quantity of tallow and horsehair. Wool.—Wool is being held for the sale on Starch 5, but tho oddmonta sold to-day showed -a decidedly lower range. Skins.—Strong competition for good torts at lwst siilo prices. Inforior skins were considerably easier.
