CENSURE MOTION DEFEATED,
Br Telecrrph-Preis Aesoelatlon-flopyrlehl Sydney, February 23 The censure motion on tho Government, moved by Mr. Wade, Leader of the Opposition, in the State Parliament, was defeated on tho application of the closure by 40 to 31.
CENSURE ON THE SPEAKER. (Rcc. February 23, 11 p.m.) Sydney, February 23. In the Legislative Assembly to-day Mr. Levien gavo notice of his intention of moving, his amended consuro motion on the Speaker (Mr. Willis on Monday, in the following form :—"That beoauso of his partiality to Ministerialists nnd unfair treatment of Oppositionists, the Speaker (Mr. Willis) has forfeited the confidence of this House."
