Wedding at St. Paul's. At St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral on February 19 the marriage took place of Miss Rosa Aschmann, daughter of tho lato Captain Aschmann, of Lyttclton, and Dr. George J. Hall, L.R.5.C.1., L.R.C.P.1., son of Mr. Ambrose Hall, Limerick, Ireland. The Rev. A. M. Johnson, vicar of St, Paul's, officiated at the wedding, which was a very quiet one. The future home of Dr. and Mrs. Hall will be in* Feilding. Auckland Victoria League. The Auckland branch of the Victoria League is evidently in for some hard work this winter. Government "has authorised the renovation of the soldiers' graves, and this work has already begun at Symonds Street, Dcvonport, and T'nuranga, and preparations arc being mado in several other places. This work will be permanent as long as tho league exists, and judging by the fact that new members are constantly being enrolled, the dissolution of the leaguo is not at all likely to eventuate. Tho situation of the new homo is delightful, and as there, are already gardens, with plenty of shade, on tho spot, a very pleasant visit may be looked for. The Rev. W. A Welcome and a Farewell, On Thursday evening, at .tho Pioneer Club, a vory enjoyable party was given by the Telephone Exchange staff for the purpose of farewelling Miss Pirie, tho popular supervisor, and of welcomcing Miss' Luckie, who has just returned from abroad. About sixty members of. tho stall' were present, and a programmo iu the charge of Miss Penny Lewis, Miss Langton, Miss Mohane, mid Miss Armoro, contributed greatly to tho pleasure of the evening. Miss Scully, in a pleasant little speech, presented Miss Mirie with a set of solid silver brushes and a hand-mirror. Lang Syne" concluded a very enjoyable evening. Miss Luckie wore a very becoming gown of black net over pale pink; Miss Firio was in a frock of pale green; Miss Scully, grey, with dull blue embroideries, and Miss Seed a gown of emerald green silk.
