MISSIONS TO SEAMEN.

The Missions to Ssamen Institute was crowded on Wednesday evening, when the Working Men's Club provided a delighful concert." Mr. J. S. Cumminjs, hon. assistant missiouer, occupied the chair. The following contributed items to the programme:—Misses W. Shell and Lindsay, Messrs. Rowlands, M'lntyro, Wey, Wilkinson, liidgood, M'Glashan,-Mansfield, Keys, Chapham, and, Freer. The orchestra, under tho direction of Mr. M'Glashan, rendered several selections during tho evening. A singing competition was won by Mr. Wey and Mr. Rowlands, and an amusing conundrum competition was won by sailors from ships in iKirt. The performers were accorded a hearty vote of thanks at tho conclusion of the concert.
