LONDON MARKETS. New Zealand' Loaiir and Mercantile Agency Co.. Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house, under date February 21:—Wheat: Wc have sold a handy Australian cargo at 375. 101 d. c.i.f. The market is firm. There is a fair demand, and the outlook is encouraging.

MELBOURNE HIDES SALES. (Eec. February 22, 11.5 p.m.). Melbourne, February 22. Hides were in fair supplies at the sales to-day, and there wa<s good competition. Prices were unchanged.

TALLOW SALES. London, February 21. At the tallow sales 628 casks were offered, and 541 sold. Prices realised! Jlutton, fine 3fe. 6d., medium 525. Ed.; beef, line 3te. 9d., medium 325. WHEAT. London, February 21. The American visible supply of wheat is 109,719,CC0 bushels. SILVER. London, February 21. Bar silver is quoted at 27 l-16d. per ounce standard.
