Sir Edward Grey (Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs), in reply to a question put to him in tho House of Commons, said it would serve no useful purpose for the Government to make representations with regard to the case of Mr. Bertrand Stewart, the Englishman recently sentenced by a German Court on charges of espionage.
