STATE BRICK WORKS.
POSITION OF VICTOKIAN ENTERPRISE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Oopyrljlt Melbourno, February 21. An official statement of tho operations of the State brickworks shows that the cost of construction was JiIO.OOO and the working expenses ,£5700. The rovenue was -SIG.OOO. The works have been closed pending experiments by tho manager of the New South Wales State works. Mr. Griffith (New South Wales Public Works Minister), discussing the failure, declared that his works would have been a failure if ho had obtained an expert from the combine.
