TUESDAY. Grilled steak and potato chips. Savoury cabbage, liico and marmalade pudding.
RICE AND MARMALADE PUDDING. Two ounces Carolina rico (well washed), 2 tablespoonfuls marmalade. 1 pint of milk, 2 eggs, i-pint custard. Put the milk and rico in a stewpan over tho lire, and let them simmer until tho rice is tender; beat up the eggs, and mix the marmalade with them; cool the rice and milk, and add tho eggs and marmalade; put tho mixture into a well-butteml basin, and bake in a moderate oven a pale bi-own colour; turn out the pudding, pour the custa.nl round, and serve either hot or cold.
FOR TO-MORHOW. Neck of mutton. Green peas. Cauliflower. Fruit for stewing.
