BUOYANT MILK SUPPLIES.

INCREASES FOR JANUARY

According to the W'aitara correspondent of ii Tarnnaki paper, the milk supply iit the Korth Tnrunaki Co-operative Dairy Compniiy keeps buoyant. During January 1,115,7131b. of milk wore received, as against 971,2-I2lb. for the previous January, an increa.se of 174,4711b. This is the first time on record that the company havo received over a million pounds of ,milk for two successive months, and the current month promises to keep up well. . IJutter made was 24 tons Ucwt., being an increase of 3 tons lOcwt., in comparison with 1911. Suppliers receive XllllU 14s. 7d. for milk, an increase of ,C 291 10s. Id. on the corresponding month of last year. The finality of the milk is well maintained. ' The manager is making five boxes per day now more than in February, 1911..

The Waitara Dairy Company received 1,027,9781b. of milk during January, an increase of 256,5501b. on the preceding January. Uutter made amounted to 52,6261b., an increase of nearly 51 tons on the corresponding month of* last year. Suppliers received ;C2017 Os. 10d., as against ,I'M-I2 16s. 6d. for 1911, an increase of X'.'iOt Is. 4d. The milk supply is keeping up wondorfu'ly -well. The payment to suppliers of over .C2OOO constitutes a record in the factory's payments. . "
