Councillor M.'Konzic, on considering tho matter further, requested the Town Clerk to hold over the motion till the next meeting, and this was done. The motiun will therefore appear on the order paper of the council at its next meeting. When spoken to by a Dominion reporter last evening, Mr. M'lCenzio preferred not to enlarge upon his motion, lie said that it might probably bo withdrawn. Tho city engineer was furnishing a general report on the tramways system, and it would depend on the terms of that report whether lie would go on with his motion or not.
