_ a A LARGE REDUCTION. By Teleeraph-Prcss AgßsdaUan-GeprriThl (Rec. February 11, 5.5 p.m.) Washington, February 10. A reduction of the cavalry forces of the United States Army by five regiments, comprising nearly four thousand men, was decided by the Democratic vote on the Army Appropriation Bill. Bitter opposition was shown by the Republicans.
