PREPARATION OF WOOL CLIPS,

At a meeting of tho Auckland Agricultural .Association, correspondence was received relative to tho need for some action on tho part of Auckland wool-grow-ers in tho matter of securing an improvement in the preparation of Wool dips for the market. The chairman (Mr. Jt. Dick) said that buyers hod complained to him (hut the get-up of (he wool sent (n the Auckland sales wa* the worst in (he Dominion. Jf this kind of thing continued (lipid was a danger that Auckland's reputation would suffer. A suggestion had been forwarded by the Chamber of Commerce that a conference of representatives of the chamber, the Farmers' L'niou. and tho Agricultural Association should be held, at which the matter might bo discussed and some remedy possibly discovered. It was decided to appoint three members of the association to meet the representatives of tho Chamber of Commerce and tho Farmers' Union.
