Anarchy prevails owing to tho struggle between tile Government and tho exShah. Shops in tho towns of Barfrush and Sari have been looted. Russian troops havo been dispatched. A DIPLOMAT'S VIEWS. London, February 8. Sir H. Mortimer Durand, presiding at a meeting of tho Central Asian Society, 'said he felt strongly tho danger of the recent moves in Southern Persia. The extension of British responsibilities rested on British bayonets, of which there was a small and not very easily enlarged supply.
