SUMMARY AND FORECAST
Present indications ar3 for a falling barometer in tho north and about Cook Strait, and an unsteady barometer in the south. Cloudy and unsettled weather with rain is probable generally, and strong northerly and westerly winds will probably predominate, except on tho East Coast of the South Island, where southerly winds may be looked for. The'barometer has had a falling tendency, and moderate to strong wcsterly winds have prevailed. Uain has fallen in many parts of the South Island, and cloudiness has increased generally, with warm and humid conditions in the north. ' D. C.
