Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd.. report of their week's sales as follow:—On Wednesday, January 31, we held a stock liale at Ngapacruru, in Messrs. Galloway's and lirualvwcll's- yards (kindly lent for the occasion). Our entry was comprised mainly of sheep, we ciuotc:—Uumiiey rams, 35 guineas; mixed lambs, fc. Id. to £s. lid.; wether lambs, 7s. M.; aged owes, 6s. 6rt. to 6s. 7d.; 2-tooth to 5-year nwes, 7s. 9d.; f.m. ewes, 6s. 6d. to Bs. 'Id.; 4-tooih ewes, 125. Gd.; fat heifers. £4 1&.; black gelding, S3 2a. 6d.; chestnut colt, £2 2s. 6ri. On Friday, February 2, wu held our fortnightly Dannevirke sale, when we offered a largo number nf both Eheep and cattle t.o ,a, good attendance, of buyers. Prices realif.ed were:—lß-inont.U to 2-year heifers, £3 9s. to £3 123.; forward empty heiferd, £o 1&.; fat heifers, £4 3s. sd. to £5; 18-months to 2-year steers, £2 12s. to £5 25.: 2{-ycar steers, £4 155.; bulls, £2 Eβ. to £3; mixed wcaners, 32=-. to 395. 6d.; fat cows, £3 15s. to £5 Bs.; empty store cows, £2 lCs. to £3 45.; cows, with calves, £4 15s. Sheep: 4-tooth wethers, 12s. 9d. to 13s. 5d.; 2-tooth wethers, 10s. 9d; 2-tooth ewes and wethers lCs. lid. to 12s. 3d.; 6-tooth to f.f.m. Lincoln ewes, to 12s. 9d.; empty owes, ss. 6il. lo 7s.
