A HORSE'S STRANGE DEMISE.

STUNG TO DEATH BY BEES. An unusual happening is chronicled by an exchange. At Halcombo on Thursday last a swarm of bees settled on a horse belonging to Mr. Geo. Franklin and stung it to such an extent that death resulted. The animal .must have suffered untold agony before it succumbed. The bees attacked the animal whilst its owner was having dinner. The factory supplier' who .cools his milk directly it comes from the cow gsts a better test and subsequently a bigger cheque than he who allows His milk to disintegrate over-night by being kept iu an ordinary vessel. During hot weather especially tho milk should be put in a cooler, for by this means it retains its real quality. This opinion has the endorsement of. factory managers and inspectors. For {nil particulars regarding the best coolers write to Albert J. Parton, Carterton.—Advt.
