In the Union House of Assembly, Sir Leander Jameson, Leader of the Opposition, tabled a motion of censure in the Government for its treatment of tho Civil Servants. The "Cape Times" states that retrenchments and replacements have kept. the departments in a ferment, and that tho Government's action has .been tinged with racialism, nepotism, and favouritism.
