MILITARY CADETSHIPS.
CANDIDATES PASSED,
The following is the, list of successful candidates in the qualifying examination, conducted by the New Zealand University, for New Zealand cadetships at the Royal Australian Military College at Duntroon, Now South Wales:—
A. 11. Carrington, Christchunch; D. E. Bremner, Auckland; G. H. Humo, Gisborne; E. T. Bowlings, Auckland; C. Opie, New Brighton, CliTistchurch; W. G. Stevens, Auckland.
The Dominion is entitled to ten cadetships annually at the Royal Solitary College. Th<! number of candidates was fifteen, and, as will bo seen, only six qualified. Tlie successful candidates will have to be finally approved by the General Officer Commanding the New..Zealand forces, and pass the lest.of medical fitness. As was tlio ease last year, the'desired quota of ton will have to be made up by selection, and tho cadct.s will leave for Duntroon early next month.
