A dynamite bomb oxi)1o(1(h1 under nil Imperialist troop train, which was proceeding from Siaokon to ITonan. A following train (.-rushed into it, nnd telescoped five .car=. Many soldiers wore killed. A bomb was thrown at the Viceroy of Miikming, who was in a third train. Tho bomb struck the wrong car and killed several soldiers. Three bombs exploded in Shang-Sua-Chen's yamen at Tientsin. Numerous arrests were made. Liangpi has died of wounds received. Prince Cliing visited the Dowager Empress and persuaded her to accept the Republican terms, tho Manchu nobles retaining their titles, with freedom to reside in Peking ox elsewhere. Severe fighting is reported nt Pukow. Tho Imperialists were unwilling to fight, and were forced to defend themselves. They lost heavily.
