LABOUR CONFERENCE RESOLUTIONS. By Teleiraub -Press Asiociation-Oopyrigbl i Sydney, January 30. The Labour Conference has adopted a resolution in favour of the Government controlling tho marketing and distribution of goods, fixing the price of the necessaries of life, paying employees on Government works for public holidavs, fixing the hours of nurses and other employees at hospitals and asylums at fortyfour per week; and that all future Government appointments, such as Railway Commissioner, be given to Australians, qualifications being equal.
