FREEZING COMPANIES' HOME REPRESENTATIVE. As a result of tho conference of North Island freezing companies on Wednesday it is announced that tho appointment of Dr. W. V. Robinson as the representative in England of the companies is to be a permanent one, and that as assistance will be needed to cover the ground more effectively, provision is to be made for this. After hearing Dr. Robinson's report on tho existing conditions of Handling New Zealand meat and the possibilities of providing better facilities for dischargo at the Port of London, the conference was of opinion that very distinct progic-s was being made in the desired direction. Exhibitors aro reniimled that entries for the Pahiatua-Akitio A. and P. Show close with the secretary (Mr. 1. A. Walsh) on Wednesday.
