Berlin, January 25. It is somi-officially denied that Germany has definitely declined to approvo of Russia's proposals to increase her sugar export quota.

At a meeting of tho German Sugar Union it was stated that the members preferred to seo tho Convention collapse rather than any further favouring of the Russian export.

Vienna, January 25. The Minister for Agriculture in Hungary is willing to assent to the raising of the Russian sugar export quota to 500,000 tons in 1912, but he objects to any further concession.
