"I AM RUINED."
MURDER IN A LAW COURT. By Telenaph—Press Asuociatian—Cooyriclit Paris, January 25. M. Veran, a wino merchant, on losing a case in the Marseilles tribunal, exclaimed: "I am ruined!" He then fatally shot with a revolvor a lawyer who opposed him. The court attendants sprung on M. Veran, who wrenched himself free and shot another rival lawyer. Veran then attempted to commit suicide.' Litigants and lawyers fled the court in a panic.
