NEW FACTORY AT TE KUITI. A new dairy factory which is to be run on co-operative line? and the home separation system lias just been opened at To Kuiti. The cream will be brought in for' a considerable ■distance from the outlying districts. Several of the improved farm .settlers of Tnngitu are going to supply the factory, and the directors are hopeful of having a supply of fully 500 cows from there next season. A depot will be established there, whence settlers will take the. cream, the company taking the responsibility of getting it to the factory. The company will have to cart the cream over eight miles to the IVnimiha railway station, from whence it will be brought to To Kuiti. The new factory has been erected at a cost of approximately .£IOOO, and is capable of turning out* 600 tots of butter per annum.
