It is slated that a record number of entries linvp bec.i received for the forthcoming IVililing show, the. number of horses, cuttle, sheep, mid competition entries together equalling the whole of those received last year. When the entries (or pigs, homo industries, fruit, and vegetables are added last rear's total will bo several hundred behind. The entries ill the horse section beat the 11)11 total by 31, cattle are i'\ ahead of last year's total,' 9!) more entries have been received in the sheep section than last year, and the competitions show an increase of 38. .Arrangements have just been inodo by theGround Committee for the erection of 50 additional catrle pens to accommodate the extra entries.
