DAIRYING IN AUCKLAND.
THE PRESENT SEASON. There can be no doubt now (snrs Ihe Auckland "Herald") that this season will prove a record one for Auckland's dairying indiistrv both in output and price. Although the weather right.'up to January was exceptionally cold and '■torniy. most of the factories show a decided increase.' and whereas at this s?a>ou la 4 year the pa-tur'cs were beginning lo wither under what we call a drought, (.his year they are in splendid condition and the milk supply is keeping up really well. There are, of course, some months of tho dairying season still lo run and we may even yet have a spell of hot dry weathe'r, but a dry' spell now will not have such a bad effect on either the pastilles or the milk yield, as it would have had had it come earlier, so it is quile pess'ble that unless same great change takes place we shall see Auckland's <to(reexports lop the JfiW.OOil mark.
