Dr. Hordern states definitely that he cannot accompany the team to England owing to business reasons. THE CALL FOR NOBLE. A large section of the cricketing pnblic is desirous of seeing Mr. 11. A. Noble take part in the two remaining Test cricket matches, but there is little likelihood of their desire being fulfilled. Mr. Noble stated yesterday (says last Saturday's Sydney "Herald") that he had no intention of offering his services, because business claimed all his attention at present.
