COLLEGE APPOINTMENTS.
COMMERCE LECTURESHIPS. The Victoria College Council last evenins made the following appointments to lectureships in accountancy and commercial law in connection with the establishment of degree courses for Bachelor of Commerce:— . Lecturer in accountancy, .£250 per annum—Mr. J. S. Barton, of Wellington. Lecturer in commercial law, .£IOO per annum—Mr. \Y. V, Ward, of Wellington. The above appointments are for the year 1912. „ . , The council also awarded the Special Research .Scholarship of £100 in value to Mr. M. Alexander, 13.5 c., of Olago University.
