BIG INCREASES. By Tnlesraph—Pren Aswcintloa—OooTrluhl Melbourne, January 22. Ths Commonwealth's imports last year wero valued at <£66,860,303,. an increase of .£6,186,848 on the previous year. Tho value of the exports totalled ■£79,484,226, including' .£12,060,831 of specie and bullion—a total increase of £4,993,076. 'Butter exports were valued at .£4.637,472, increase of nearly .£700,000. The value of the wheat exported was jC9,623,142, a dccreaso of .£310,000; of wool ,£21,412,143, a decrease of £7,365,000. Tho net revenue from Customs and exciso ■ was i! 13,561,119, an increase of .£1,250,000.
