. ■*- Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Smith, of Oriental Bay, intend leaving on a visit to England shortly. They sail from Sydney on March 27, by the Otranto. Mr. Philip Newbury and Madame Emily Spada (Mrs. Newbury) are at present slaying at the Albert Hotel. It is the intention of tiles* artists to give a series of popular concerts in Wellington. Sir Maurice O'RoTke arrived from Auckland yesterday to attend the sittings of the University Senate, and will remain in the citv until the Parliamentary session to be held next month is over.
