A DEAL IN WHEAT.
A lino of 10,000 bushels of this season's standing crop of wheat has (savs a southern paper) been sold for forward delivery in Timaru at 3s. 'lid. per bushel. Thero aro many standing crops in the Ashburton district which look like promising to yield all from 15 up to 50 bushels an acre; and this at 3s. 4J<l. per bushel should be very gratifying.
