After passing through Otcpopo tunnel; and on arriving at Herbert Station, it -was discovered that some of tho spirit that had escaped from the Una was on firo. Tho stationmaster, with sev- ■ oral othor railway hands, and a stranger, entered tho wagon at considerable risk to themselves and removed the cases, throwing thoso that ware leaking anil cases burning over tho bank and covering thorn over with earth and shingle. Only about It sound cases wore found. Only for the prompt action of tho men a serious disaster might havo occurred.
