FALL. Gisborne, January 18. Harry Field, a single inau ■45 yeari of age, a enrter employed by rue i ; ui>no Works Department, met with a serious accident at B-xkiuroa, near Gisborne, today. Field was driving an empty dray ailing a narrow road when the horse, shied and precipitated tho vehicle over the cliff and all fell 70 feet to the bottom. The man was thrown clear of the dray, but received serious injury to his back and v.as_badly bruised. He was convoyed to town this evening by train, and admitted to the hospital.
